The 2020 Fall Season will obviously be like no other. We are taking the necessary precautions and following NYS Guidelines in regards to Covid-19. This season we will be offering both Tournament Teams and non-Tournament Teams with the former playing in outdoor Tournaments where permitted. The non-Tournament Teams will be practicing just as the Tournament Teams, but will be having intrasquad scrimmages instead. Additionally, we may adjust the indoor/outdoor Tournament ratio based on the team’s makeup and this would be discussed in more detail after invites go out.

Practices will be held outside for the Fall Season and team size will be limited to allow for a safe experience with their “pod” when necessary. This Fall Season will be very fluid and we encourage all interested kids to tryout and then Northeast Elite will try to adjust accordingly based on parent’s comfort level.

  • 2 Practices per week starting at 4:00 PM or later. Exact Team Practice Days & Times will be given when invites go out and is based on the team your child is selected to play for.
  • 3-4 Tournaments (Tournament Teams only) for the Fall Season with potentially more added when applicable. Tournaments will be 1 Day Tournaments this Fall.
  • Practices start the first week of September and continue until just before Thanksgiving Week.
  • All Practices are held in Westchester and for most Teams will be in the Ardsley/Elmsford/Tarrytown area. Your exact location will be distributed once teams are selected and invites are sent out.
  • Excellent coaching with safety above all else. The majority of our Coaches have played College Basketball and in most cases have played Division I or Division II.
  • Your child is not just a player that will be packed into a gym. We limit all our Teams to better be able to reach each kid individually and motivate them to the best they can be.

  • Parents are to remain in the car and are not permitted in the outdoor Basketball Court area. We are doing this to limit the number of persons in/around the courts.
  • All kids will have their temperature taken via infrared thermometer. Please keep your child home and do not send them to Tryouts at any hint of fever or flu like symptoms.
  • Prior to entering the outdoor Basketball Court area, all kids will be required to clean their hands with sanitizer.
  • Upon entering the outdoor Basketball Court area, all kids will be required to wear their own mask which they should bring with them. Once inside the outdoor Basketball Court Area, they may lower their mask or put it in their pocket. Your child is free to wear their mask at any time. Your child is welcome to break at any time and/or step to the side and watch.
  • Prior to leaving for the day, all kids will be required to clean their hands with sanitizer.
  • Please stay in your car when you pick up your child.
  • If at any time, your child has any questions or concerns please encourage them to talk to a Northeast Elite staff member.
